Feeling pretty accomplished as far as home ownership/management goes. Wish I got some better pictures before we got snow though so some of these are a bit older. I spent the majority of my summer doing landscaping. Probably 80% done, want to get some berry bearing shrubs for the wild birds next year and a small evergreen tree. Miss my (mom's) red twig dogwoods. I also got chickens, after the shed was turned into a coop. The shed which was just the bare bones has now been made into a pretty darn well-insulated coop complete with outlets so I can run whatever is needed out there versus tripping over an extension cord. They've got a 5x10 kennel for the run. A chicken tractor was also constructed so my ladies could have yard access. I got Cortunix Quail, very cute little birds. Don't get much meat off them since they are teeny tiny. I called them my potatoes. Might try to raise a handful early next year after I get a brooder made and add a fringe to the tractor so I don't have any
